Production Methods Of Metal Foam

Metal foam is currently produced in three ways: melt foaming, powder metallurgy, and gas injection. The melt foaming method, for example, is primarily used to add substances that can generate gas during the smelting process; during the smelting process, the gas can be evenly distributed in the metal liquid, and foam metal can be obtained. The gas injection method involves injecting gas into the molten metal liquid in a simple manner, allowing the finished product of foam metal to be obtained. Powder metallurgy is the process of melting metal and then injecting gas into it.
