• Fe-Ni Foam, also known as Iron-Nickel Foam, is a special iron-nickel alloy material which is a porous material made from a combination of the metals iron (Fe) and nickel (Ni).
• It is characterised by an open-cell, spongy structure consisting of interconnected metal struts and voids.
• It is ultra-lightweight, has good sound absorption, electron wave shielding, workability, fire resistance and high thermal conductivity.

Main feature

• Ultra-light quality: They have the largest specific surface area, with a specific gravity of 0.2 to 0.3, making them 1/4th of water, 1/3rd of wood, 1/10th of aluminium, 1/30th of steel and ultra-light.
• Sound absorption: Sound absorption has a wide frequency due to the porous structure.
• Electron wave shielding: With a relatively thin thickness, it shields about 90 dB of electron waves.
• Machinability: Can be cut, bent and easily bonded.
• Fire resistance: The material retains its shape and is resistant to high temperatures. It is also difficult to burn.
• Recycling: scrap metal can be 100% recycled into new materials.
• Thermal conductivity: Porous metal have a high level of thermal conductivity.
• Breathable: A homogeneous 3-dimensional network structure with a filtering effect and high flow stability for gases and liquids.
• Sound absorption: Through additional processing, high sound absorption can be achieved, and sound insulation is good.
